Description

I love the sleeves - they are so unusual

Still has original tag attached and retailed for almost $2000

The high neckline and that row of tiny silk covered buttons up the back are the final delicious touch

Jean Louis is the infamous designer who created that dress that Marilyn Monroe was said to have been sewn into when she sang Happy Birthday to JFK

1970s Mary McFadden Couture Silk Gown designer-teal-traina I love the sleeves -Gorgeous, late seventies, early eighties, Mary Mcfadden Couture gown incorporating her signature pleat technique in the fabric. Her couture line is the best examples of this fabrication she used silks and high end finishes and the gowns where constructed and finished by hand. The color is a ice blue as pale as can be and thick bands of beading and large rhinestones encircle the waist and criss coss over the bodice giving it a beautiful Grecian feel!
