Each day, a handful of pills. This is how I hold my body together, thread by thread, breath by breath. Living with lupus means learning to bend without breaking, to rest when the world keeps spinning. It means making peace with pain, and still finding beauty in the mess. This piece is inspired by my friend Ellen, who walks her own quiet path with MS while I navigate lupus; infusions and all. Together, we learn: its okay to not
