The painting is called Two Dancers, Half length and on the left at the bottom of the picture, you can make out Degas' signature. The picture is painted with pastell and carbon pencils on tracing paper and on it we see two dancers with identical, yellowish dresses and red, updo hair. Degas' choice of material comes through in the painting's unique texture. Edgar Degas
