This illumination was inspired by beautiful design style
The watercolor paper is not fully flat and despite how much I've tried to tape it to the matting
I have so much gratitude for anyone that honks at me when I’m trying to change lanes at the wrong time
I never asked if the reason people had gardens was to be in contact with nature or to save money but I remember how my boss would beam telling me the fig or daikon radish she would share with me sometimes came from the family garden
"Monogram A” - Original, Framed Hardware This illumination was inspired by24k gold leaf on gilding gesso, 24k hand ground gold, azurite, malachite and magnetite stones from locally owned, Gem State Crystals, hand crushed into pigments and made into watercolors, paper dyed with garden onion skins, compass and straightedge construction. Though labor intensive can describe most of my work, this one holds a special place in my memory that says the result was amazing but I may never try to make another one again or if I do,
