不要になった、もしくは余剰の素材を粉砕して綿から糸に戻す反毛の技術、これを応用して14番×14番の薄手のデニムを新たに開発しました。経糸は杢グレーの糸をロープ染色し、緯糸は杢グレーそのままの色で織りたてました。その心は60年代の海兵隊員用デニムの解析で、ジニングしきれない緯糸がややくすんでいたことにあります。ただ、製品をレプリカにすることなくフィルメランジェらしい味付け、組み合わせを手助けしてくれるような品番を作成しました。

試験を重ねた厳選した超長綿を、フィルメランジェ独自の番手に紡績した別注糸を使用しています。それを丸編みの産地である和歌山でもトップクラスのニッターにお願いし、別注の編み機超綿の滑り感と、別注の編みによる目の立ち方、かなり細かい調整が合うことで最上の着心地となります。
